A Word From Marc | Maison Castanié Journal
I was born in Millau, a small town in the south of France, close to the caves of Roquefort. I left at three, but it never quite left me - summers with my grandmother Mamie Leone and Papy Gaby, the smell of the boulangerie, pastis in the little cafés on the street when I was old enough.
I've spent over twenty years in retail, and somewhere along the way I fell for how things are made: the people behind them, the patience, the idea that a well-made object can last a lifetime. I still wear clothes I bought at thirty.
Maison Castanié is where all of that comes together - the France I remember, the work I love, and a place for our family to share it with you. I hope it feels like somewhere you'll want to come back to.
