Welcome to our place to come back to.
We're tucked into a steading at Milton of Crathes, in the heart of Royal Deeside - twenty-five minutes from Aberdeen, seven from Banchory, just beside the River Dee. Come for coffee, stay for a jambon beurre, or settle in for a slow wander through the shop. In good weather, take it outside - there's seating by the burn, and a picnic area overlooking the river.

Getting here
By car: 25 minutes from Aberdeen, 7 from Banchory. Free parking on site.
By bike or foot: the Deeside Way passes close by - easy to make a slow afternoon of it. There's bike racks around the estate.
Good to know
Dogs welcome at the outdoor seating and picnic area.
Step-free access throughout.
Make a day of it
Milton of Crathes is more than us. There's a play-park, a gorgeous walk up to Crathes Castle, and a small cluster of independents nearby - an art gallery, framers, a perennials nursery, an outdoor and fishing shop, and a restaurant for a proper sit-down meal. The Falls of Feugh and the Deeside Way are just a short drive on.
