Returns
We hope you'll love everything you order from us. But if something isn't quite right, we're here to help — here's how it works.
Changed your mind?
You can return most items within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund. Just let us know first by emailing claire@maisoncastanie.com with your order number. Items should be unused and returned in their original condition and packaging.
Returning in store
Local to us? You're welcome to bring eligible items back to the shop at Milton of Crathes — just bring your order confirmation. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
What we can't accept
For health, safety and hygiene reasons, we're unable to accept returns on:
- Food, deli items, coffee and bakery (perishable goods)
- Personalised, made-to-order or bought-to-order items
- Opened hygiene products, such as soaps
…unless they're faulty, of course.
Faulty or damaged items
If something arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, please email claire@maisoncastanie.com with your order number and a photo if you can. We'll put it right — your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 always apply.
Postage
Unless an item is faulty, return postage is your responsibility. We'd recommend a tracked service, as we can't be responsible for anything lost on its way back to us.
Refunds
Once we've received your return, we'll process your refund within 14 days, to your original payment method.
