Our clothing boutique upstairs and online is now open! Cin cin!
Last weekend we opened the doors to our clothing boutique, upstairs at Maison Castanié in Banchory, Royal Deeside.
We're cosy kind of people, and so naturellement we've dressed the space like a living room. The wood burner is lit, the candles are burning and there is always music playing and someone (Claire!) with a cup of coffee in hand. There is a sofa for anyone who would like to sit with a coffee and a chat while someone else browses, or just enjoy the scent of logs burning in the air. We've also put cowskin rugs underfoot, so do make yourself at home - we only ask that you keep your shoes on... (Try telling our little boy that!)
On the rails
We are starting with three brands.
- Universal Works. Easy, well cut everyday, contemporary pieces from Nottingham.
- Orcival. The French marinière, in proper Breton stripes.
- Vetra. French workwear, made to be worn for years.
More brands will arrive over the coming weeks.
